Frankie's Story...
FRANKIE is about 2-3 years old, solid gray with just a little length to his fur, and wonderful gray/green eyes. Absolutely friendly – a total LAP CAT! Would make a great companion! Frankie is currently living as an indoor/outdoor cat at his foster home where he showed up hungry and decided to stick around. He could easily become an indoor only cat.

Frankie is not at a regular Cincinnati Cats foster home and is currently living in a less than ideal situation. His foster parent needs a loving forever home for Frankie. You can call the foster directly at (513) 271-7225 and leave a message, or contact Cincinnati Cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankie, a Cincinnati Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
