Tiny's Story...
My story: I am part of a litter of six kittens born to a feral mom. A nice family took us in and we are now very fond of humans. I was named Tiny because of my small cute face, but I am BIG in personality--very curious and playful. My brothers and I are about 8 weeks old, litter box trained, and full of purrs for the right purr-son. Based on our foster home experience, we are used to kids, big dogs and other kitties.

Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Yes | Good with Children: Yes

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiny, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
