Sable's Story...
Sable is a beautiful, sweet, friendly and loving, three-year-old, 20-pound, Scottish Terrier aka Scottie looking for a loving home. Sable lost her home when her family’s home was foreclosed upon. Sable is very well-behaved in the home, housebroken and crate-trained. She was the only dog in her previous home, and while she may tolerate other dogs … she really prefers to be the only dog in her home. She is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt Sable please contact Gloria at fido@famousfidowholesale.com or 773-907-0305. Her adoption fee of $250 benefits rescued pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sable, a Chicago Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
