Daisy's Story...
Meet Daisy! She is our pretty, 1 1/2 year old, Yellow Female Labrador. Daisy was just rescued from a local shelter, where she was confused and bewildered, but now that's she's at her foster home, she has already perked up and is wagging that tail!

We have found that Daisy is your typical Lab - she's a water dog! Yes, she loves to splash in the doggie pool! Daisy gets along very well with the other dogs in her foster home, shares the balls and enjoys playing fetch with them.

Daisy is healthy, fully vetted (including spayed) and weighs about 76 pounds. We will post more information about Daisy as we get to know her.

If you are interested in providing a loving, forever home for Daisy, please complete our online adoption application at www.lonestarlabrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Coppell Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
