Seamus's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Seamus's Story...
Seamus is a handsome 1 year old male border collie. He came from a kill shelter as a "sheltie mix", but this boy is all border collie!
Seamus has a beautiful medium length, light red coat with some sable coloring on his face. Seamus is fairly light-boned, but will probably fill out a bit more as he grows and is on a good diet. He is a happy boy who loves human companionship and gets along well with other dogs.
We recommend Seamus go to a home with children over the age of 5

More about Seamus as we get to know him better.
A completed adoption application must be submitted to NBCR before you can be considered to adopt this dog. There is also a $180 adoption fee
The application can be downloaded from our website www.nebraskabordercollierescue.com or email karenbattreall @cox.net and ask for an application<

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Seamus, a Bellevue Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Bellevue, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Bellevue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellevue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellevue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellevue paves the way for another one to be saved.
