Ivory's Story...
Hi my name is Ivy and as you can see I'm a beautiful tuxedo kittie. I love the companionship of other cats, so I’d like very much to be adopted to a home with another feline. I’ve always lived with other cats, and we like to snuggle together, groom each other, and play chase among other games. I love to sit on the couch and purr up next to a special person. That’s a special talent I have learned since being with Friends of Homeless Animals. You see, I was rescued as a kitten from living outdoors, and I had to learn that people were worthy of my trust. Now I’ve even progressed to the point where I’ll let the Friends volunteers come and pick me up for snuggles – that’s quite an amazing feat, if you ask me! I’m such a sweet girl, but because I’m not one of those cats who come looking for people for attention the minute you walk through the door, I may be overlooked by potential adopters. But I’m truly a little gem. Please give me a second chance and adopt me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivory, a Aldie Turkish Angora cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Angora for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Turkish Angora cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Angora breeders who help with Turkish Angora rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
