Arnie's Story...
Arnie is a sweet 2 year old, grey tabby.
He was living on the street when we found him. We were won over by his sweetness and couldn't return him to where he came from. Unfortunately he had lost his eye in a fight with a bigger cat and to make matters harder for him he was tested positive for FIV.

Arnie would make a great lap cat in a household where he would be the only cat or be a great companion for another FIV positive cat. He is very healthy and loves to be petted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arnie, a Columbus Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
