Pepper's Story...
Courtesy Listing! - Please contact Kris and not the Downtown Dog Rescue.
Hi my name is Pepper! I am a Chihuahua/Pug mix. I have all my shots, I'm neutered and I'm potty trained and chipped. If I'm so great why am I up for adoption? My owner loves dogs so much that she wanted one of her own. She is legally blind and lives in an assisted care facility. I get pretty excited to go on a walk. I have caused her to fall a couple of times and she just can't afford to have that happen again. So I must find a new home. Would somebody like to have a mature (I'm 7) loving companion? I'm friendly and sweet! Please contact Kris at: krbonham@yahoo.com or
714-420-3641.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Los Angeles Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
