Zoey's Story...
My name is Zoey. My mom was rescued from a shelter just before I was born. Mom is a Balinese (a type of Siamese), and although I don't look like a Siamese, I sure act like one! I'm really smart, and I like to play fetch. I've grown up around you human 'beans, so I think you're all ok. I follow my foster mom around like a puppy, and I love to crawl under the blankets with her.

My brothers & sisters have all been adopted, and I'm so lonely. Won't you please take me home?

If you'd like to met me, please e-mail luv4paws@adelphia.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Oak Park Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Oak Park, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Oak Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
