Woody's Story...
Are you looking for a cat that REALLY needs you? Woody is the GENTLE GIANT type of kitty...he's tall, velvety black, sleek, and very affectionette ~ LOVES to be loved! His favorite pastime is sitting quietly next to you waiting for some petting. He's a doll, and quite a talker too! He loves people so much though, he won't want to share you with a lot of other cats in your house. He was recently rescued from Over-The-Rhine where he was living in a junkyard with Moonface Melvin. He had a very hard life while living on the streets ~ the other cats battled and bullied him. His "contender" days were short lived and have left him afraid of cats picking on him ~ Woody will make an excellent human companion. And he LOVES cat nip and carboard scratch pads. He is about 2 yrs old, tested, vaccinated, neutered and his adoption fee is $50.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Woody, a cincinnati Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
