Mason-TX's Story...
Meet Mason! Yes, he IS absolutely gorgeous! You ask "how did Mason end up in Rescue?" We are still asking ourselves that. He was originally believed to be a Neapolitan mastiff, until Cane Corso Rescue saw a picture of him. He does have a longer cropped tail, but he has more Cane Corso qualities. Mason is a big, goofy boy. But, don't get me wrong, he needs a leader who is willing to give him the time and energy to help him learn some manners and to teach him how to be a good, family dog. Mason is learning manners as we speak and making leaps and bounds. He doesn't seem to be bothered by other animals, though we do not recommend him for a family with small dogs because of his size. He has met cats (though interested), horses, and other dogs. If you are interested in Mason, please fill out an application at www.canecorsorescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mason-TX, a New York Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in New York, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
