Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jack is a wonderful dog. He is registered, about 5-6 yrs old, neutered, house broken, kennel trained, typically very obedient & as beautiful as they come. He is great with his owners older children, but does not like the latest addition to their family, who was born last year. Ideally, he should have a home with someone who would let him lay on their couch and/or lap a lot but also have the time & space to let him play. Jack would do best in a home without very small children and would be a good companion to a female dog. He is located in Hertford, NC.
Jack plays ball, but it has become more of "chase Jack" game since our 10 yr old made it as such over the last several yrs. But his favorite is to chase the red lights from laser light pointers indoors or outdoors. He'll do it for hours if you let him. He loves to chew stuffed animals, especially ones with squeakers. We did obedience training with him as a puppy. While he is a little rusty at times, he knows all the basic commands both verbally & by hand signals (sit, lay, shake, "leave it," roll over & waiting/staying). Jack loves to please; especially when given the right motivation.....FOOD! He loves to eat & snack on whatever you will give him. We have found out recently that we have to be careful as he has a food allergy/sensitivity & have had to put him on a lamb & rice or rabbit & potato diet. Much to his dismay, no more beef. Jack loves any & all attention & being the center of an audience. He loves a good lap to cuddle up in or pile of his owners clothes will do too.
