6/22/10 - Brutus was seen by the orthopedic specialist yesterday. The wrap on his leg and his sutures were removed. He will go back in two weeks for an xray. He must remain on strict crate rest until then. He is such a laid back and happy little puppy that the crate is not bothering him much; although we are quite sure he will be happy when he can run and play again!
6/10/10 - Brutus is home from his surgery! They placed two pins in his leg and feel that he should heal very well!
6/9/10 - When Brutus was surrendered to YHR, he came with information from the previous owner's vet saying he had a torn ligament. He went to the orthopedic specialist today and was found to have a fractured tibia. The fracture is high up and in a spot that needs to have pins placed. His surgery is being done this evening. We will update as soon as we hear how things went.
