Roxy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Roxy's Story...
Roxy is a lovely girl, who walks beautifully on the leash and loves people! She's been at the shelter too long and needs a home, please! Her hobby is looking for lizards in long grass! She would make a wonderful only-dog for someone, who wants a loving companion, who loves to go for walks-- and at six years old, she's past her crazy puppy stage!!! Please see her at the Harbor shelter!

Act quickly to adopt Roxy. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy, a San Pedro American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
