My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hawking, born approximately April 5, 2010, was dumped at Petco when he was about three weeks old. We think he was dumped because his right rear leg was crippled: it turned inwards and all he could do was drag it behind him - to the point he rubbed the hair off. Taping it and then making him a little "L"-shaped cardboard "boot" soon had him managing to get the leg under him with a proper bend at the "hock" joint. Now you would never know but we put 'special needs' so you know he wasn't born "perfect." Look at that sweet face! That is how he is. Sweet.
