Princess's Story...
Princess' favorite things in life are giving enthusiastic puppy kisses and having her lower back scratched. She is a happy girl who gives the cutest facial expressions and coos with delight. Princess' foster mom exults that "Words can not do her justice. This is the kind of special of special dog you are lucky enough to meet just once in a lifetime." Princess is a lovely, red-nose Pit Bull Terrier, with one blue and and one brown eye. She is blonde with white markings, weighs about 50# and is about 1 to 1-1/2 years old. Princess lives up to her name and is an absolute delight in her foster home. She is gentle and affectionate, loves other dogs, appears to be fully housebroken and knows several obedience commands already. She is yet another example of what wonderful family dogs Pit Bulls can make, when they are raised with love. Princess' foster mom would love to keep her for her very own, but the other 2 family dogs have different ideas on the matter and insist that Princess has to go. Princess deserves the safety and security of a loving, forever home - one who is experienced with this breed and who appreciates how special Princess is. Princess is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm-negative and is on monthly heartworm prevention. Our $150 adoption fee helps cover the cost of her medical care. **Applicants must have a verifiable history with a vet and must live in the DFW Metroplex.** If you would like to make Princess a permanent member of your family, please complete our online application today: www.tassieshope.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Carrollton Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
