Alice's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Alice's Story...
Alice is is seven-years-young and built with the blockier style bone structure reminiscent of the original bloodlines of the German Weimaraner. Striking face, amber eyes, fit physique all describe this beautiful girl.

Alice was surrendered to the rescue due to a change of circumstance in her family and the remaining owner unable to keep her due to time constraints. She was raised by the same family her whole life, is housebroken (does not need or require a crate), command trained, has excellent recall and is a wonderful middle aged girl.

She loves human attention but also gets along with her canine friends. Alice loves to travel in the car and go for rides and is thrilled to take a walk in the woods. She will be happy to show you where all the little critters are hiding! Alice probably will not fare well with cats in the home as she takes great interest in little things that move. However, depending on the circumstance, she may be able to differentiate a cat in the home from a wild animal.

Alice is fine with children but would prefer them a bit older than toddler age. She will do great as an only dog and loves her human time and attention. She can be in a small multiple dog home as well and be able to adapt and fit in as part of a canine pack.

She's got a lot of good years left, may she spend them with you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alice, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
