Cubbie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Cubbie's Story...
Cubbie is a larger silver gray long tailed weim. Cubbie is a nice well built boy with a bit of a stubborn streak...he came in as a stray at the same time and to the same shelter that Purdie came from. He is mindful (when he wants to be) is command trained (when he wants to listen) and was overall a well cared for dog at one time.

Cubbie gets along great with the other dogs and is very social and enjoys playing with the others but will also go off and explore by himself. He is a rare weim in the fact that he is not extremely food driven. He is good around kids of all ages but we are not yet sure about cats although he was fine living with his foster families little pug dog. He travels well in the car and seems to enjoy going for car rides. He can most likely be an only dog or be placed in a multiple dog home without issues. He is crate trained and housebroken and must have been allowed to free roam his previous home as he seems comfortable with that privilege. He does have a tendency to bark when frustrated, but does respond when corrected.

Cubbie is a bit of a "diamond in the ruff" and with a little time, patience and polish will make a lovely companion for someones home and family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cubbie, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
