Rosie-NY's Story...
Rosie is a fantastic 6 yr. old little girl -- peppy and affectionate. She has been well-cared for -- good teeth, nice clean/soft coat, good body weight, clear eyes. She does "snort" like flat-faced dogs do. Rosie has had no leash walking training and doesn't respond to any commands. She is very gentle and is equally comfortable with men and women. She is good with cats, likes other dogs, and plays nicely. And Rosie has a good appetite! She likes to "stick by" her person - very typical of Pug behavior.

Rosie is being fostered in New York City and her asking adoption fee is $250.

E-MAIL INQUIRIES WILL BE RESPONDED TO MUCH FASTER THAN TELEPHONE CALLS.

NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie-NY, a Edmeston Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Edmeston, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Edmeston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmeston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmeston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmeston paves the way for another one to be saved.
