Dash's Story...
Howdy partner! I'm Dash! Are you looking for a mellow fellow to keep you company while you knit or read? I'm pretty sure I can do that! I'm a great guy who'd make a wonderful addition to your home. I'm very sweet and just LOVE to be scratched. In fact, if you do it just right, I'll do a somersault for you! Just look at my video to see me in action!

I'm older boy, so if you're not up for the craziness of a kitten, then I'm your guy! I have a lot of love to give and I'll make someone very, very happy. Did you see the Mickey Mouse ears on my back right hip? Cool, huh! Since I'm kind of shy and easily scared by other animals, I'd love to be in a nice quiet home with only female kitties I get along with them, but not male kitties). I'm not big on dogs so I would like to avoid living with them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dash, a Dallas Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
