Misty's Story...
Misty is a beautiful golden mix who was abandoned out in the country. A nice family was feeding "him" while looking for her home. They were quite surprised when "he" delivered 6 puppies while they were at work! Misty and all her babies were rescued the next day and are now safe and warm. She is a wonderful mother and the puppies are thriving. They are now 4 weeks old and will be looking for homes of their own in the coming weeks. Misty has a golden personality and loves other dogs and cats. She is crate trained and house trained. She is looking for a golden home of her own. Please consider Misty if you are searching for a golden girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misty, a Brodheadsville Bernese Mountain Dog/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bernese Mountain Dog/Golden Retriever for sale in Brodheadsville, or seeking a Bernese Mountain Dog/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Brodheadsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brodheadsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brodheadsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bernese Mountain Dog/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Bernese Mountain Dog/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brodheadsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
