Lady Bug's Story...
My story: Lady Bug was saved from a growing colony in a depressed area and a very nice lady was trying to feed all the cats, but there were too many. Lady Bug is about a year old, but very small. She is no larger than a 5-6 month old kitten and will get no larger. She is just one of the kittens in the house and has an extremely loving and playful nature. Spots was very sick and she cuddled and nurtured him through to good health again. If she is adopted with Spots, then there will only be one adoption donation for both. Lady Bug is up to date on all of her vaccines, spayed, litter box trained and FElV/FIV negative and just waiting for someone to love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady Bug, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
