This poor girl was dropped off at a local county shelter after 13 years with her owner when they decided she was too much work to take care of. She was emaciated, filthy, and hadn't had regular vet care. We couldn't let this sweetheart spend her final days in a concrete run so she is now in foster care with us. She is very friendly and surprisingly spunky for her age, and is eating well and gaining weight and is in good health overall. She loves attention and would love a "real home" where she can get a lot of attention in her golden years. She is fine with other dogs of all sizes and very gentle. She would really enjoy a home with a fenced yard, she loves to spend hours sleeping in the sun with her paws crossed! Please contact us if you are interested.
We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes or boarding kennels and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash). To help us better match a pet to your household, we request you fill out an application on our homepage and copy and paste it into an email, or print it and bring it to our adoption day when you come. Local inquiries only please- we do not do long distance adoptions.
Trudy-GENTLE is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trudy - Gentle, a Randolph German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky for sale in Randolph, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Randolph.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Randolph already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Randolph breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Randolph paves the way for another one to be saved.
