Skyler von Rowley's Story...
Skyler von Rowley is the sweetest 18 month German Shepherd. Skyler is on the smaller side for a German Shepherd around 50 pounds. She is active and agile and can keep up with any dog, even her extra large foster brother Rusty. Skyler loves to play but then she can settle down in the house, she is actually very low key and mellow according to her foster mom. She is definitely housebroken and has good house manners. Skyler walks well on the leash, she has some obedince training and knows all her commands. For now we are still trying to determine if she is good with cats, she jumps up when her foster mom carries the cat around, but Skyler will get on her bed when her foster mom tells her to go to bed. All in all Skyler is a catch for someone, at first she is a little shy but she comes around quickly, she does bark to let any stranger know she is on duty.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skyler von Rowley, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
