Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pixie’s Story: Pixie and her mom, Chessa, and her NINE siblings were found living in terrible neglect in west central Ohio. We were told the conditions in which they were being kept were beyond description. Somehow, the loving mama dog (also in foster) managed to keep her family together and alive . . . only to end up in a kill shelter. All the pups were adopted, leaving Chessa and Pixie out of time and options. We learned of their plight on a Saturday, and they were slated to be euthanized on Monday morning. Fortunately, a wonderful volunteer stepped up to help them, and they are now safe, being cared for, and are looking for forever homes of their own!
Pixie's Foster Mom Says: More info is coming soon. Pixie is a 9-10 week old Husky mix. Mama Chessa is a purebred Siberian Husky, and at this age it's a little tough to determine just what kind of guy dad was! She is being treated for a skin condition and will be ready for her new home sometime around the first of March. But don't wait -- APPLY NOW -- as any time we get a pup the response is overwhelming.
