I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Keno is a 4 year Sharpei / Shepherd cross. She was a feral dog who was born wild and was not handled by people until she was almost 2 years old. She has been in foster care for almost two years now and is a vastly different dog than the one we rescued. She even recently passed her basic obedience classes with a high score! However, Keno sometimes does not behave like what you might normally expect. For example, she will likely never get over her fear of new situations or strangers. It would be best if she had another dog in the house to help her learn the ropes, one who would act as a calm, stabilizing role model. Keno is a very sweet girl who she has never displayed any signs of aggression, but we think that children & small animals are too unpredictable (and sometimes too loud!) for her to live with. We feel that she would do best in a cat-free and child-free home. She is a great companion who loves car rides, going to the dog park, playing in the water, and she loves to play with people as well as with other dogs. She is quiet and clean in the house and can be quite goofy at times!
