Bailey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bailey's Story...
Bailey is a purebred shih tzu who lost her home due to the family's move. She is 4 years old and weighs 12 pounds. Bailey is looking for a home where she will not be kenneled for long hours. She is good with kids who are 5 and older and gets along with other dogs though she would be happy being an only dog too. Bailey hasn't been around cats but it seems she would fine with them. Bailey loves to go on long walks. If she has a fenced yard her house training is fine so we are requiring a fenced yard. Bailey was hit by a car in the past and had some injuries but she has recovered from them completely. She does have some vision loss in one eye but can see everything just fine. Bailey is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. Her $300 adoption fee covers her full veterinary care including spay, heartworm test and pill, shots, worming, flea/tick prevention and HomeAgain microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Osseo Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
