Pilot's Story...
My story: Pilot is a darling 8 week old black and white male kitten. When he was first rescued, he used to try to nurse on his foster mom's hair. He likes to snuggle up under your chin or neck and loves being scratched under his chin. Pilot LOVES other kittens and would love to be adopted with a friend or go to a home where he will have a kitty companion. He and is brothers, Mustang and Maverick, and his foster kitty friends Maxwell and Sean (all also available for adoption!), sleep in a big "kitty-pile" together and Pilot is never off on his own. Any mix of them would be a great combo for your family! Pilot loves to play with and jump on anything that is dangled in front of him. His favorite toy is the fishing pole cat toy with feathers attached! Pilot was combo tested and dewormed on 5/29. He was neutered on 6/7

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pilot, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
