My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bob is a small cat with a big personality. Born in March of 2005, Bob is looking for a forever home and a family to love him. This gray and white guy has tons of energy and lots of love to give. Bob has a lot to say and isn’t shy about saying it, especially around mealtime when he’ll tell you he wants his food “now.” While not a big fan of being held, he has been known to enjoy a warm lap in a quiet area.

Bob has some very unique physical features. He has a wide nose that makes him look very exotic (possibly hinting at some Siamese in his ancestry). His back paws are half gray and half white, and his front paws have just a small white spot at the tip of each one (trust us, it’s super cute). His tail is very long and skinny, which he thinks makes him much more aerodynamic when he is running around the house.

Playtime can be as simple as a shoelace. And if you don’t know that it’s playtime, Bob will start without you with any shoe that is lying around. He also loves toy mice, balls, laser toys, string toys, and feet. Yes, feet. While he wrestles with your feet, though, he is nice enough not to use claws or teeth.

For whatever reason, loud noises or sudden movement sometimes still startle Bob, so a home with young kids would not be a good fit for him. He has gotten along well with at least two other cats and he may prefer having a playmate, especially if you are not around a lot. Bob will eat whatever you feed him, and all he asks in return is a small spot on your bed at night to call his own. He is a very snuggly sleeper, but he is not put off by a little nudge every now and then as you turn over.

Bob, like all ARCF cats for adoption, has been neutered, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in meeting Bob, please fill out the "I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
