Nami's Story...
Nami is a 12 pound, 3 year old Pomeranian mix. She has sand colored hair and beautiful black eyes. She is a sweet, happy girl who loves to give kisses and cuddles with her human companion. She is crate trained and potties on command. She can bark at passersby if she is left alone in the house for a long time so she would do best with a stay at home parent or with another canine companion. She would do well in a home with children 8 years old and up. Nami was found as a stray in South Bay with multiple fractures in her rear right leg. Despite the time and effort we put into saving Nami’s leg, her leg injured was too severeso we had to amputate her rear right leg. She is currently recovering from her second surgery and is getting around great. Animals adapt amazingly well to the loss of a limb. They can walk and run freely on three legs. For those dogs with three legs, they not only lead active, happy lives, but give back much to those who love them. Please see our home page for a list of our Saturday adoption sites. This dog cannot be adopted out of state. If you are interested in adopting Nami, please call Penny Adams at 619-466-0426.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nami, a Spring Valley Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
