My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack was adopted from our local shelter in February of this year. At the time we also adopted a lab. Jack is very friendly, loves attention one on one. Kids love him and he loves kids. He does get a bit excited when left unattended for a while, but once he realizes that he is with his family, he
calms down and enjoys playing and cuddling. One of the photos is shown with our granddaughter (age 11).

Jack needs one on one attention to be the dog he was created to be. A little bit of time and training would go a long way with him and he could be a great companion. He needs for someone to throw the tennis ball, or take him for a walk, or give him tummy rubs. He just wants someone to be with.

He is neutered, all shots up to date and has been on heartworm/flea/tick prevention since our adoption in February. He is approximately 1 1/2 years old.

No fees are involved. We only desire for him to have a good home--being loved and cared for.
Jack does not need to be around any male dogs or cats. He also does not need to be with children under 10. Hope you are not in an apartment, because he sure needs a safe yard to run around in. If you have to work 10 hours a day it will not be a good idea for you to adopt Jack. He cannot be left all alone for that long. He is young and energetic and needs a lot of attention.

If you want to adopt Jack I hope you will feel comfortable if I visit your home. We love Jack and want to be sure that he is going to a wonderful home and that he is a fit for your family. If the adoption does not work out we will always take Jack back.

We are senior citizens, still working full time jobs and did not realize the energies needed to keep up with Jack.
