My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pint-sized Beagle boy was saved from being euthanized at a rural NC pound. Rocky is safe now and doing well in his foster home. He is an adorable bundle of wiggles and wags and is such a happy, outgoing, and affectionate Beagle boy who loves everybody! Rocky is an active 2 year old that really loves play, but also enjoys the 'down time' snuggling on the couch. He will be a wonderful companion for a very lucky person. Rocky completed treatment for heartworm disease in Feb. 2006 and is doing great! He is current on routine vaccinations, neutered, crated trained, on heartwom preventative, and microchipped.

Rocky is not at a shelter. All Safe Hounds Beagles are cared for in loving foster homes. Prospective adopters MUST submit an adoption application prior to meeting our dogs. Please email us for information about our adoption requirements and to request an application.
