Bo's Story...
Bo:
Bo is an absolute dream dog. Handsome, calm and good natured. He is a lab/shepherd mix with the body of a small lab and the coloration of a shepherd. His fur is soft and smooth like cashmere and he doesn't seem to shed much. He is approximately 11 mos old, roughly 45lbs and very well behaved for his youth. He is crate trained, housebroken, neutered and UTD on shots.
Bo will fit in to almost any family. He enjoys children, dogs and cats. He loves his time at the dog park and on the couch snuggling with his human. Bo walks very well on the leash. He's not much of a yard dog so moderate exercise to keep him in shape is recommended.

Bo comes highly recommended and is looking for a loving person/family to call his own. His foster dad considers anyone who adopts Bo to be very lucky to find such a great dog. We estimate his birthdate around February 2009 and he is being fostered in Boston.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bo, a Naugatuck German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Naugatuck, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Naugatuck.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naugatuck already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naugatuck breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naugatuck paves the way for another one to be saved.
