My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Liza is a German Shepherd/Pug Mix. She is Tan and Black. Liza is 3 Years Old. She is Spayed and up to date on her shots. She weighs around 46 lbs.

Liza is an energetic goofy girl. She was dumped like garbage on someone's porch and was then taken to the pound. She is very grateful to be here at the rescue. She is such a great girl with such a loving personality. She loves people, but with new people it takes a minute or two for her to warm up, she's just a bit shy right at first then she acts like she's known you her whole life. Liza is a goofball who loves all the dogs to play with, her gal pal Marmie who's quite a bit larger then her she doesn't have any problems keeping up with her rough housing. She loves to lounge, she loves baby blankets, which she likes to surround herself with while sleeping. She will sleep on the floor, the bed, the couch anywhere there is comfort to be found. Liza also tends to snore a bit while sleeping, it's adorable when you see her all sprawled out and then she starts to snore. She gets along great with all the dogs here, and would do great with another dog in the household. She loves toys, and will find them all and take them to her hiding spot, but she does share them with the other dogs. She loves people, she just takes a minute or two to sniff your hand and then she warms up.

Liza would do well in any household. She's so very sweet and likes to show affection by giving kisses. She loves to play Fetch, and is very talented at that game. Liza is also completely housetrained and crate trained, but does not need to be crated because she can be trusted alone in the house. She will go the back door to let you know she has to potty. She's also very smart and already knows how to "sit", "give paw" and "lay down". She is also very good on the leash, she does not pull but loves to explore. She rides great in the car, she's either up front sticking her head out the window or in the back with her baby blankets asleep. She likes to lounge around the house, sleeping on the couch is where you'll usually find her or playing with Marmie. Liza would love a household with children because they like to toss her toys and don't get tired, she also loves their hugs and kisses. Liza is such a good girl and she needs a new start in life and is looking for that special family to call her own.

Liza is not aggressive with other dogs, he has been with small, large, young and old dogs.

At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
