My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

URGENT-Harley is in need of a foster home or forever home as his current owner cannot keep him.

Harley is just a big lovable goofball who originally came to us from a crowded shelter where he was picked up as a stray. He is a 2 year old Redtick Coonhound and weighs around 60-65lbs. Harley is just wonderful with other dogs and would very much love a home with a canine companion. He also does extremely well with cats as he has lived with them for the last several months. Because of his breed a securely fenced in yard is a must for this boy. Hounds are known to follow their noses and will chase just about anything that moves. Harley is in need of a new home because his current owner isn't authoritative enough to handle him when he wants to chase. A more confident or experienced dog owner seems to work just fine for him. He recently started using a new harness that also makes it much easier to handle him on the leash. Harley has been vet checked, vaccinated, heartworm tested, dewormed and neutered. He is also microchipped.
