Lexi's Story...
One of our volunteers stumbled across Lexi and her brother Henry in a box in an alley. They had gum in their fur and were very hungry. After a vet check and some shots, Lexi went into a foster home where she was cuddled, bathed and fed. It didn't take her long to start playing with the other dogs and enjoying life for maybe the first time in her life.

Lexi is very outgoing and loves to play. She's happy, crate trained, and is learning how to potty outside. Lexi will do great in any home but would be happiest with another dog in to play with. She will be wonderful with kids and fine with cats. Lexi is 8 weeks old and 7 pounds.

Because litters can have more than one father, we think Lexi's dad was not the same as Henry's.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexi, a West Los Angeles Rottweiler/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a Rottweiler/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Rottweiler/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
