Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roxy is a mature well-behaved girl, full of affection and gentleness. On her walks, she is not boisterous, but rather, she quietly takes in all that goes on around her. She is casual about the attentions of other dogs, perhaps taking a moment to see what all the fuss is about, and then moving on. Roxy is reserved in the shelter, seldom barking or aggressively asserting herself in search of attention. But one look into her eyes sets her tail rapidly in motion, indicating that a human connection is indeed very important to her. This older girl loves treats as well, and will graciously take them very gingerly from your hand. Roxy will make a faithful companion to someone who demonstrates a genuine love and caring, which she will unfailingly recognize and return in kind.
