My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daphne – Sweet, sweet Daphne. This small, petite, black lab mix girl is sure to win your heart. She is about 7-9 months old and is a bundle of puppy energy and love. Once she is fully filled out, she will only be about 40 to 45 lbs. Daphne does have one deformed leg. It is her back right leg and it turns out at the knee a bit. We are not sure if this is from an injury or a birth defect, but she doesn’t pay it any attention and it does not bother her in the least. She beats the others chasing the tennis ball and can hold her own with the best of them. Daphne likes to talk. She has a low little bark when she wants attention or when she wants to play. Just talk back to her and she is a happy little girl. She is as smart as a whip and would excel in obedience classes and come out as head of the class. She loves everyone - other dogs, people, kids and even the cats. Daphne is on the high energy side, but will settle down a lot as she matures.

Daphne has been spayed, heartworm tested, up-to-date on her vaccinations including rabies and microchipped. And, did we mention, crate trained. If you would like to give this doll baby a chance for a wonderful life, please indicate her in the notes section of the online application. Daphne has lots of puppy kisses waiting for the right family.
