Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mia is a super cute girl weighing in at just under a whopping 4 lbs. She is estimated to be between 3 -4 yrs old. Mia was found outside without food, water, or shelter on a scorching hot day. She was covered in fleas and has some hair loss due to her constant scratching. Even after being mistreated, Mia is a cuddle bug and loves to be held. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, kids & even the foster’s resident tortoise! Mia is house-trained and crate trained. She will alert you to her need to go outside by barking at the door. This sweetheart LOVES to be outside but due to her size & the heat, it’s just too dangerous for her to be an outside dog. She is UTD on shots (including Rabies) & is unfortunately Heartworm POSITIVE. Mia needs an adopter willing to pay for heartworm treatment or a sponsor to pay for her treatment so she will be healthy upon adoption. Can you help this special cutie??
