Zoe's Story...
Zoe is an adorable 8 week old black lab (mix) puppy, may have a little hound in her. She currently weighs 8 pounds. We do not know how large she will ultimately grow to be. She is very sweet, a typical playful squirmy puppy. A good cuddler too.

Because Zoe is still very much a baby, she needs to go to a family with a stay-at-home person who will be committed to her housebreaking, obedience training, socialization and exercise. Puppy school is a must.

You can meet Zoe at her current foster home: Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, during normal store hours (847-251-6750)

Zoe's adoption fee of $325 includes: vet exam, flea preventative, DHPP (distemper-parvo combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, deworming, microchip and spaying.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoe, a Mt. Prospect Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
