My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi There! My name is Dottie, but they usually call me “Dot” around this place. I am a very petite little girl with loads of personality! I’m about 5 years of age and I love to run around with my new found hound friends at my new Foster Home. I listen very well, I don’t counter cruise or dig in the garbage. I love the little two leggers and I especially LOVE to chase the cats out of the house and under the beds! Apparently the folks here don’t want me doing that, but I can’t help it….I’m a hound!

I have learned how to use a doggy door and I no longer have any accidents in the house since I have gotten more comfortable here. I was nervous at first and sometimes waited too long to ask to go outside before I learned the doggie door trick….it’s cool….you should try it!! When I first came out of the Shelter, I was so filthy dirty that you could barely tell what a gorgeous red and white coat I have, but they cleaned me all up and I feel great!!

I'm on a weight gain diet consisting of practically “anything” I want. :o) You can’t beat the service around here!! I am quite fond of the stuff they call “cottage cheese,” whatever that may be, as well as those lil’ chicken tender things. Yum!!! I prefer a nice cozy place on the couch with plenty of pillows and the only time I have to speak my mind around here is when someone goes out the front door. I just can’t stand not being able to go with them!!

I’d love to meet you and if you have any lonely four-legged family members (other than cats) or any two legged kiddos’ that need a friendly Basset Hound in their lives, I’m your gal!!!
