Igor's Story...
Meet Igor! Don’t let the name fool you – this is one adorable and affectionate little dog. A mix of Tibetan Spaniel and Pug, Igor is charming his way into everyone’s hearts at ARF. He is easily one of the most personable and unique dogs to come through the shelter in a long time. And, while we’re thrilled to have him, this boy needs a forever home to call his own.

Igor loves everyone that he meets, including most other dogs. So, he would probably be willing to share his new home with a canine brother or sister. And he gets so excited about going for walks that he can barely wait to get leashed up. But we understand that it’s hard to keep all of that energy contained. He just loves life so much! Igor will make a great companion – as he’s always game for a walk, ride in the car, playtime in the yard, or cuddling on the couch. What more can you ask for?

If you’re looking for a little dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart, consider giving Igor his forever home. You can contact his adoption consultant, Brittany, at 440-781-7103 or for more information. You can also come visit him at the shelter. He can’t wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Igor, a Berea Tibetan Spaniel/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Tibetan Spaniel/Pug for sale in Berea, or seeking a Tibetan Spaniel/Pug dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Tibetan Spaniel/Pug breeders who help with Tibetan Spaniel/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
