Kiara's Story...
Looking for a gorgeous gal to join your family- well Kiara may be the one for you. I am a 3 year old Collie mix with beauty galore- I got it inside and out! I am housebroken, have had some basic training, am crate trained even. I love children but am looking for a home with kids over 6 years old- we have learned that toddlers are a bit mush for a laid back girl like me. I do well with other dogs and like to play off leash with them (on leash is another story) and I am good with cats. I am a mellow girl who needs get out and get some exercise- I am getting a bit thick in the middle and could stand to loose about 15-20 pounds ( I should weigh around 60lbs. but right now I'm up to 75!) So what do you say- don't pass up this angel cuz I am looking to find heaven in your home. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; current shots, microchip, spay, 5 week Training Class, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiara, a Portland Collie/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Husky for sale in Portland, or seeking a Collie/Husky dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Husky breeders who help with Collie/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
