Autumn and Azalea's Story...
Autumn and Azalea (females)
Bark! We were dumped at Suzan’s house, but she already has dogs and cannot keep us. She wants to make sure, though, that we go to good homes. We are about 3 months old and possibly lab/border collie mixes of some sort. We are shy, submissive, and very sweet. We are UTD on our shots now, have been dewormed, and ready now for homes where we’ll never have to worry about being abandoned ever again. There is a screening process to adopt us and our adoption fee will recoup the costs of our spay or you will be given a low-cost unpaid voucher to get us spayed. If you’d like to meet us, please call Suzan at 318-617-4933.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn and Azalea, a Haughton Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Haughton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Haughton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haughton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haughton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haughton paves the way for another one to be saved.
