Darla von Dortmund's Story...
Darla von Dortmund is a lovely 4 month old Shepherd mix puppy.

Per her foster mom:
Just wanted to let you know that our foster girl (we're calling her Ani) is making herself right at home. She's playful, clumsy, social, eats well, smells better, takes her medicine and is doing very well with potty-training. Most of the time she is very good and easy-going. Every now and then, she's "evil" like any puppy should be. :-))))) She fits right in with our pack of small and large dogs and our cat as well. She's a great pup!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darla von Dortmund, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
