Suzie's Story...
Hi People,
I’m a little bichon/cocker mix named Suzie. I weigh in at about 18 pounds and am about two years old. My foster mom says I’m always happy, pretty independent and playful. She says I get along well with other dogs (I have four foster brothers and sisters) and can be really quite talkative!

I’m housebroken and want to please. Each day more and more of my personality comes out –
and Mom says that I’m really starting to sparkle and shine. She says I’m a bit protective of
my chew bones (she thinks I haven’t had too many things of my own until now) but am sweet
and gentle overall – and will be a wonderful companion.

If you are looking for a sweet little girl to call your own, please ask for me: I’m Suzie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suzie, a La Costa Bichon Frise/Cockapoo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Cockapoo for sale in La Costa, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Cockapoo dog from a breeder in La Costa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Costa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Costa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Cockapoo breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Cockapoo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Costa paves the way for another one to be saved.
