Jackson's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jackson's Story...
Jackson was picked up as a stray wandering near Jacksonville High School a few months ago. Even though he was well fed and had obviously had some training, no one ever came forward to claim him. We are guessing he is about 9-12 months old now. He is neutered, has had all of his needed vaccines and will be going in for his heartworm test very soon. Jackson is completely house broken, crate trained and gets along well with other dogs, cats and children. He is a goofy looking boy with shorter bully breed legs and weighing about 40lbs. right now. We can't imagine him getting much taller, but he may fill out just a bit more.

Due to increases in veterinary costs,as of May 1st dog adoption fees have increased to $180.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Jacksonville Hound (Unknown Type)/American Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/American Bulldog for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/American Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/American Bulldog breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
