picked up as a stray by Cherokee County Animal Rescue, found walking
down the middle of a road in Canton 5/7/2010
Breed: cocker spaniel

Age: said to be 12 but she seems younger. Teeth look too good for a 12 year old.
Level of blindness: completely blind.
Cause of eye issues: different issues in each eye. I will have to get medical terms from my vet.
Health issues: eye or eyes may need drops daily. Right eye is getting a triple antibiotic optho drop w/Dex. tumor on left side vet believes it is a fatty tumor. Have ot done a biopsy. Some Skin dryness and she was doing a lot of scratching when she first came but all is much better with an AllerG-3 suppliment and 5 mg of Prednisone.
Weight: 27 lbs
Good with dogs: Yes, but cautious at first I believe because she can't see.
Good with cats: completely ignores them
Good with children: don't know but loves attention and I think she would love children.
Currently being fostered in: Deforest, Wisconsin
Information:
Sweet Penny Lane is a wonderful little girl. She loves just being with you. She loves walks and squeaking a small orange ball like a puppy with her little tail just a wagging. she loves rawhide chews and Loves car rides and just being with you. She is a sweet companion with lots of love to give.
