My name is Alf!

Lhasa Apso Dog for adoption in Wilmington, Delaware - Alf

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Alf's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Alf's Story...
Alf is a 4-year-old Llasa Apso. He is crate-trained and housetrained. He is adorable and friendly, but can sometimes have an "attitude." He is a little dominant and is protective of his home. He would do best in a home with Lhasa experience. He doesn't seem to like having his back legs touched and will sometimes snap if pushed. He needs a home without children. He is new to our program so we are just geting to know him. We will post more soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alf, a Wilmington Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
