Maui is a gorgeous long haired dachshund mix, about 6 months old. Unbelievably, this gentle baby was found as a stray on the streets of the Bronx, and happily jumped into the car of a good samaritan who drove him to the shelter.

Maui is stunning - he has a shiny ebony coat and the personality to match. He is great with other dogs and people of all sizes (although his foster family would prefer a home with children 10 and up due to his size). He has a wonderfully sweet dispostion and is already reliably housetrained. He is a true "lap dog" and is cuddly and friendly.

Maui is neutered, up to date on all his shots, and microchipped. If you feel you can give this little angel the perfect home, please fill out an application today!
